YES! The workshop of my dreams.. Meg (owner of See Use Again) and Sophie (@DreamingofJohnny) are going to host a beginners’ level Comic-Making Workshop!
Saturday, September 5th,. 2026 2PM - 5PM
We will have a discussion on our personal histories with comics, zines, etc. As a group, we will discuss our interests and goals for comic-making, play around with formats, supplies and more!
We will have some of Sophie’s personal stamp collection to use AND Sophie & Meg’s collections of zines, graphic novels, and comics to reference.
ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED! Papers, pencils, pens, stamps, clipboards, markers..
Chairs, table space… Snacks and drinks provided! Come hang and learn a new skill or brush up on a past passion! Sophie and Meg want to see you and talk about comics with you. <3

Our doors are towards the Eastern side and there will be a sign outside to guide you.
Masks suggested and offered for free. The building and space are wheelchair accessible and there are restrooms on site.
We have had three workshops so far!
The first one was a sold out Workshop where folks learned how to DIY Screenprint at home. The second one was a Hand-Mending/Reducing Textile Waste Workshop. The third one was a group Junk Journaling Workshop + Craft Hour!
We have a couple of exciting ones planned September and October! We just announced our Beginner Friendly How to Make a Comic Workshop taught by Sophie (Dreaming of Johnny) and Meg (See Use Again).
Every See Use Again workshop will be on a different topic. If you would like to teach a group lesson on a creative skill and would like See Use Again’s help hosting, marketing or sourcing materials, please let us know! As long as 70% of materials are secondhand/reusable, we are willing and wanting to help!
